Course 7: Bernard Foccroulle: Contemporary repertoire for organ

As a composer, Bernard Foccroulle has a large repertoire to his name, ranging from chamber music to full-length musical theatre. Last year, his first opera 'Cassandra' premiered at the Brussels Mint, to rave reviews. Naturally, he also wrote various organ works, especially for historical organs. During this Summer Academy he will teach contemporary organ repertoire, and we look forward to the expertise he can use from within.
In addition to being an organist and composer, Bernard Foccroulle is also a teacher at the Conservatory in Liège and opera director at the Brussels Muntschouwburg and the Festival in Aix-en-Provence. His credit includes recordings of the complete works of both Bach and Dieterich Buxtehude.
