Participate in the Martini Organ Competition in Groningen

The Haarlem improvisation competition is not the only organ competition this summer. If you are more of a repertoire player, we highly recommend the International Martini Organ Competition, which takes place immediately after the Haarlem festival. 

From July 28 to August 3, in addition to competition rounds, there will also be master classes on the famous Groningen Schnitger organs, such as those in the Martinikerk and the Akerk. They are given by well-known names such as Leo van Doeselaar, Sietze de Vries and Erwin Wiersinga. The jury of the competition includes Bernard Foccroulle, Monica Melcova, Matthias Havinga, Vincent Thévenaz and Ville Urponen. A multi-colored repertoire is required and there are great prizes to be won.
